I officiated my first wedding in spring 2022 and fell in love (pun intended). As a poet, I love finding the exact right words to capture the ineffable—the love between a couple and the opportunity to cross a threshold from one chapter of a relationship into the next.

Being raised in a Catholic-Jewish home has given me a profound appreciation for all spiritual and religious traditions and the wisdom they provide us. Although I specialize in interfaith weddings, I always customize the script to the couple and will work with you and your partner closely to learn about your relationship and shape the ceremony to you all.

Many people aspire toward a more secular or spiritual wedding, without specific religious overtones, and I’ve also officiated a number of these kinds of weddings as well. I’m available for:

• Customized wedding scripts and in-person officiation, within 100 miles of the San Francisco Bay Area

• Consultation to support your officiant (maybe a good friend of yours who has never officiated a wedding?!)

• Editing scripts or wedding speeches

• Facilitating other wedding-related ritual, such as a pre-wedding blessing circle or ceremony
